About Us

Working in Spirit to help those in need…”

St. Vincent de Paul Society is an international, independent Catholic charity founded in 1883 by Fredrick Ozanam in Paris, France.

Founded in 1983, the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Roseville has become the largest privately funded supplier of human services in South Placer County. Our mission is to provide basic human services and programs to prevent hunger and homelessness. We provide HOPE and HELP for people in crisis… not just the homeless, but families who are struggling financially and are at risk of becoming homeless. Our goal is to help people in need as they work towards self-sufficiency.

Our Roseville Conference is a non-profit organization funded entirely through private donations, grants, churches, local businesses, and corporate contributions. Without the ongoing support of our wonderful community and volunteers, we would not be able to continue our charitable mission. We are always looking for innovative ways to improve and expand our services.

St. Vincent de Paul of Roseville also works closely with the city, county and other nonprofit agencies to provide direct services to those in need in Placer County.
