ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Job Summary

St Vincent de Paul Roseville is currently seeking an experienced Administrative
Assistant. This Part-time position will work under the direct supervision of the
Administrative Supervisor. Applications accepted until position filled.

Essential Job Functions
This is a primary agency support position responsible for:
• General Reception and Clerical duties
• Greet visitors and clients, answering questions tactfully and
courteously
• Data entry and reporting
• Maintain organized filing systems, both electronic and physical
• Collect and distribute voice messages, and other agency
communications
• Organize, maintain and supply reception and conference areas
• Maintain office inventory and equipment
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, multiple assignments,
and prioritize workload
• Other duties and projects, as requested

Minimum Qualifications
This position requires a High School diploma and 3 years of professional
administrative assistant, office support experience. AA degree or higher and 1-2
years of professional administrative assistant, office support experience.
Flexibility in responding to demands in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work
and relate to a variety of personalities and cultures with diplomacy, friendliness,
and poise. Perform a variety of agency duties requiring working knowledge in a

modern office environment, proficient in computers, applications, and office
machines. Experience in a nonprofit social services environment is preferred.
Additional required skills include effective verbal and written communication,
stress management, and customer service orientation. Desire to make a
difference in the community. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Team Player is a
must!

provide basic human services and programs to prevent hunger and

sufficiency.

grants, churches, local businesses, and corporate contributions. We also have
the ongoing support of our community and volunteers, to continue our charitable
mission. St. Vincent de Paul Society, Roseville Area Conference provides direct
services to those in need in Placer County, working closely with cities, county,
and other nonprofit agencies.
Hours – Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. onsite
