Lawyers vs. Hunger started in 2014 with two food banks and one law firm and provided over 12,000 meals to folks in need. Since then the challenge has grown to include multiple law firms and food agencies and provided 369,921 meals in 2024. In 2025 they had multiple law firms and other sponsors, nine food agencies and a goal to provide over 400,000 meals. 

    Since 2014, the Lawyers vs. Hunger campaign has united more than 20 law firms and the public to combat food insecurity across Northern California by matching public donations to local food agencies, quadrupling the impact of each dollar. 

    This year we again have the opportunity to double our donations thanks to the generosity of Lawyers vs. Hunger. They have offered to make every donation to St. Vincent de Paul Roseville up to the maximum amount.
